Sloppy Joes with CDO Liver Spread


500g extra-lean ground beef (ground top round)  
1 onion, diced  
4 cloves garlic, minced  
1 jalapeno, minced  
1 red pepper, diced
2 tbsps. CDO Liver Spread    
1 can small red beans or pinto beans  
1 ½ cups tomato sauce  
2 tbsps. tomato paste  
1 tbsp. red wine vinegar  
1 tbsp. molasses  
1 tbsps. Worcestershire sauce  
1 tsp. mustard powder  
¾ tsp. salt 
freshly ground black pepper  
8 whole-wheat burger buns 
sliced or grated cheddar cheese
glimepirid hexal 4 mg glimepirid orion


1. Brown the meat and the onion in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, breaking up the meat into crumbles as it cooks. Pour the drippings out of the pan and discard.  
2. Add the onion, garlic, jalapeno, red pepper and CDO Liver Spread and cook 5 minutes more, stirring occasionally.  
3. Stir in the rest of the ingredients, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 5 minutes more.  
4. Place a half-cup scoop of the mixture onto each bun topped with sliced or grated cheese. Serve.
