Bistek Pinoy CDO Ulam Burger


5 pcs. CDO Ulam Burger
½ cup soy sauce  
pepper to taste  
3 tbsps. calamansi juice  
1 large onion, sliced into rings
cooking oil for frying
¼ cup beef stock  
1 tbsp. cornstarch diluted in a little water (optional)        


1. Marinate the CDO Ulam Burger in soy sauce, pepper and calamansi juice for at least 15 minutes
2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions, remove and set aside.  
3. Using the same pan, fry the CDO Ulam Burger.  
4. Add marinade and beef stock and allow to simmer until the sauce has reduced.  Sauce can be thickened with cornstarch slurry if desired.  
5. Top the pan fried CDO Ulam Burger with the sautéed onions before serving.
